Welcome to WiShow!
This page describes how to setup WiShow for the first time. This guide uses another computer to send images to the iPad.

- Before you can use WiShow, you need to start its Receiver. The receiver is anFTP server, which you can log into and upload images. To do this, simply click “Settings” from the main screen enter a username and password of your choosing and start the Receiver.
- From another computer connected to the wireless network and launch FTP. This can be done by launching the Terminal(Mac OSX) or Command Prompt(Windows) and typing "ftp".
- Then type: "open IP_ADDRESS 2121”
(Where: (IP_ADDRESS) is the IP address of the iPad on your wireless network).
- Log in using the user name and password specified on the App’s Settings page.
- Send images files to the iPad using: "put FILENAME"
(Where the FILENAME is an image in the local folder that you want to send, e.g. "NewImage.jpg").
- This image will be sent to the iPad. Note you will need to set the "Instantly Display New Images" to see the new images as they are received.
- When more than one image is uploaded you can activate the slideshow to allow the application to continuously change the images. Any new images will be added to the slideshow dynamically.
